The Company

Elmet Ltd. is a Bulgarian company, owner of Fish Farm "Clarias". The farm was established in 2012 for cultivation of African catfish /Clarias gariepinus/ in Recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS).

RAS systems are modern systems that are located in a confined space, thus avoiding the traditional outdoor fish farming method in pools and dams. We launched this venture in 2012 alongside with the accompanying fish processing units, that are already built and functioning. Our farms are located in the area of ​​Panagyurishte municipality and have an annual production capacity of 400 tons live fish.

Fish farm "Clarias" exports part of its African catfish production in Austria, Germany and France. Furthermore, the company develops a strong distribution network in Bulgaria.
